Presbyterian Women

The membership of the St. Paul Presbyterian Women is divided into three meeting groups or “circles”. The evening circle and the morning circle meet on the first. Tuesday of each month, while the afternoon circle meets on the first Monday of each month.  The meetings offer our women a time to study God's word, worship and fellowship together.  The Circles’ curriculum for 2010-2011 is " Journeys Through Revelation - Apocalyptic Hope for Today", by author Barbara R. Rossing.

In addition to the monthly meetings, all members are invited to meet together at four yearly "Gatherings". The September Gathering starts off our new season. In December a Christmas program is held. In May we celebrate our "Birthday Dinner". Special programs are presented at the Gatherings, with time for fellowship and refreshments.

In 2006, St. Paul women made Chrismons for the Chrismon tree, to replace those destroyed by fire in the sanctuary. The Women have also provided Easter and Christmas treats for the children and helped with a community Easter Egg Hunt and Fall Festival held at St. Paul.  P.W. also help with congregational covered dish dinners for various occasions, as well as other needs that arise.

Another ministry of  the St. Paul P.W. is the preparation and serving of meals to bereaved families of our church. The meals are served at the church or in the home, as desired by each individual family, usually following the funeral or memorial service.
